Best Bar None 2008 was launched in September 2007 at Shearer's Bar in Newcastle who had been named overall winner at the previous ceremony. 3 Point Media produced an online video of the launch event for event organisers Safe Newcastle as well as providing footage for broadcasters including ITV Tyne Tees and BBC Look North. 3 Point Media was also booked to produce a commemorative DVD of the awards night itself.
