In April 2008, Tyneside taxi firm Blueline celebrated their 50th anniversary with a commemorative commercial and a short film detailing the history of the company and how it is embracing new technology today to stay ahead of its competitors. The commercial was shown on ITV Tyne Tees and featured images from Blueline's own archives. 3 Point Media also uploaded the short video to several video-sharing sites to further increase awareness.
